04/03 Just when you felt justified complaining about the "long" flight to Columbus and how it's going to mess with your contest prep, Figure Pro Rosa Romero stepped up and obliterated any opportunity for sympathy.

Over the past two weeks since leaving her home in Australia to compete in the Phoenix Pro (and place third incidentally) and now traveling to Columbus to compete in the Arnold, she has logged a total of 38,056 miles in the air.

Romero is a flight attendant for Quantas Airlines so cris-crossing the globe and looking like a million bucks doing it is just part of her day to day life. She will be competing in her first Arnold Classic this weekend and is predictably thrilled to be there. She is very confident that all the flying and time zone changes will cause any problems for her physique at all.

"I fly for a living and have been for the past 11 years. The trick for me is that I stay on Australian time no matter where I am and I listen to my body."

25/02 I am absolutely thrilled to have placed 3rd in last weekend's Phoenix Pro qualifying me for the 2010 Ms Figure Olympia in Las Vegas. It is a dream come true and I look forward to being the first Figure Professional in the South Pacific to grace the Olympia stage. Next week I will travel to Columbus OHIO to compete at the Arnold Classic Figure International. I am honoured to have been invited to compete at what is known as the world's most prestigious event for Professional Figure competitors. I am now back in Australia and enjoying every moment I have with my children, before I venture off with my brother Andres to one of the most spectacular shows of my career. Thank you to my family, friends, Paul & Carole Graham & to NutriGenix who have been absolutely amazing to me, and thank you to my dear friend Moe who has provided me with much support and encouragement to ensure I present my optimum on stage. Couldn't have done it without you...x

25/02 Whilst in the USA I was fortunate enough to travel to Vegas (thanks to NutriGenix) and shoot with Terry Goodlad. All I can say is WOW! Without a doubt one of the BEST photographers I have ever worked with who knew exactly how to bring out my best. I can't wait to show you all of it but here is a sneak peek. Terry & Elaine also recoreded an interview with me for the Bodysport radio which should go on air some time this week. I will keep you posted but you can also go to www.bodysport.com. The 10th Annual Figure International is the most prestigious event for the world’s top professional figure competitors and consists of two parts, prejudging and finals. The prejudging event is the only time in the competition that all competitors are on stage at the same time. The field of about 15 fitness competitors are evaluated by a panel of expert International Federation of Bodybuilding (IFBB) judges to determine who advances to the finals.
